Research Environment

An Independent AI Research Lab

Our infrastructure is designed to support fast iteration on new neural architectures. Instead of depending entirely on external compute from day one, Intellicortex begins with internal experimentation, allowing architectural ideas to be tested, refined, and benchmarked in-house before scaling further.

This approach supports research velocity while preserving a clear path toward larger cloud-based training and benchmarking workflows.

Hybrid Compute Stack

Built for fast iteration and scalable experimentation

Intellicortex uses a hybrid workflow: local systems are used for rapid architecture development, debugging, and early-stage validation, while larger experiments are prepared for cloud GPU clusters as research requirements expand.

Local GPU Prototyping

Internal GPU systems are used for day-to-day architecture development, debugging, and early-stage training experiments.

Benchmarking & Validation

We run architecture sweeps, throughput tests, memory profiling, and controlled comparisons against dense neural baselines.

Cloud Scale-Out

Once local results are validated, workloads can be scaled to cloud GPU infrastructure for distributed training and larger benchmark studies.

Experimental Compute

Current Infrastructure Focus

Our internal compute environment is designed for high-velocity AI research. Current work focuses on benchmarking Sparsitron™ against transformer-based models, testing sparse and event-driven computation patterns, and studying compute efficiency under real GPU workloads.

This internal research stack allows Intellicortex to move quickly: small and medium-scale experiments are executed locally, while larger distributed workloads are structured for cloud deployment as the research matures.
